2nd Annual Nintendo Community Fangame Convention |

The Nintendo Community Fangame Convention (NCFC) is now open for pre-registration. For those who don't know, NCFC is an online convention-styled event for Nintendo fangame creators. The convention takes place over the course of five days and features fangames, workshops, chats, a radio program, a guest Q&A, and other special events. We were indirectly involved last year by linking to the NCFC from our homepage, but we've taken a slightly more involved role this year. Feel free to take a look at the site and see what they have to offer!

Arcade Scores Resetted |

Now for the first time all the arcade scores have been resetted. Go have fun and see how many scores you can gobble up and keep for the following 3 months.  Next resetting will be 4th October.

Apparent hacking |

According to Mystara, we had a member join recently that was somehow an admin, who backed up the database before logging off. I strongly urge everyone to change their passwords, just to be on the safe side. His IP address doesn't match anyone's, so we don't know who it was or why they decided to copy our database.

We're mainly waiting on SMF 2.0 to be officially releaseed (it's in open beta now), but I'd like to see a new GU theme or two. What I'd like to see is a theme that uses mainly xhtml and css, possibly a little javascript (like in the case of needing to use javascript to make a workaround for IE we have for our current dropdowns). If you're interested, feel free to see what you can do, and link to it here.
